Check of a condition and replacement of the hoses located in an impellent compartment
The general data Under the influence of the heats which are taking place in an impellent compartment of the car, the material of the rubber in it rubber and plastic hoses starts to collapse eventually. It is necessary to examine regularly all hoses located under a cowl on presence of cracks, traces of leaks, signs of hardening of a material and easing штуцерных connections. For fastening on the unions of some, but not everything, hoses collars are used. Check reliability of a tightening шланговых collars, - easing of their fastening conducts to development of leaks. If the hose is planted on the union without a collar, make sure that its end remains elastic enough for dense обжимания to an union surface. Metal lines (each 15 000 km of run) Sections of metal tubes are often used as fuel lines. Attentively check up all rigid fuel lines on presence of dents, excesses and other deformations. Make sure of absence of cracks and signs of the beginning of their formation. If any of sections of a metal line is subject to replacement, use as replaceable only a seamless steel tube. Copper and aluminium tubes do not suit use as replacement as do not provide due stability to influence of the vibrations arising in system at work of the engine. Attentively examine metal brake tubes in places of their connection to ГТЦ and to the valve-terminator (if that is provided). Pay attention to such defects as cracks, try to reveal signs of weakening of fastenings. In case of revealing of traces of leaks it is necessary to check up immediately a condition of all brake system as a whole. Fuel hoses (each 30 000 km of run)
Check up all rubber fuel hoses on presence of signs of ageing of a material and other defects. Special attention give to a condition of sites of an excess and the areas located directly ahead of the ends put on unions. As replaceable lines high-quality fuel hoses should be used only. At all it is not necessary to establish not strengthened vacuum hoses, transparent plastic tubes or garden hoses in a power supply system path. Usually for fixing of fuel hoses on unions collars of spring type are used. Such collars lose in due course durability of the landing, besides, frequently unexpectedly come off at the moment of a hose detachment. It will be reasonable to replace such collars more reliable and safe worm or screw. |
