Replacement of the fuel filter Petrol models

The fuel filter is on the car bottom, on the right, near to a fuel tank. For filter replacement special nippers HAZET 4501-1 be required. |

At replacement of the fuel filter observe fire prevention rules! |
|
|
- Dump pressure in the power supply system (see the Head of the Power supply system, release and decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases).
- Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
- Поддомкратьте the car also establish it on props.
- Put under the fuel filter suitable capacity for fuel gathering.
- Mark with a tape hoses of giving and fuel return.

The arrangement of hoses can be defined in an arrow direction on the filter, the arrow specifies in a current direction. |
- Open quick disconnect connections of fuel hoses by means of special nippers HAZET 4501-1 and disconnect both hoses.

Fill the fuel filter with fuel after a detachment of hoses. |
- Cover unions with rags.
- Separate a socket of electroconducting and take out the filter from the holder.
- Establish the fuel filter so that the arrow on its case specified in a direction of a current of fuel, i.e. from a tank to an impellent compartment.
Correct installation of the fuel filter
- Establish acting in film components upside-down.

Diesel models
|
|
- Merge fuel from the filter (see Has undressed Removal of a sediment from the fuel filter of the diesel engine).
- Disconnect electroconducting from the thermosensitive gauge-switch and an element of heating of the filter, established between the fuel filter and its basic arm.
- On the engine of 1.5 l disconnect fuel hoses from a filter cover. Remove the fuel filter with the holder. Cautiously clamp the filter in a vice and turn out its cover.
- On the engine of 1.7 l disconnect the fuel filter from the holder and take out it.
Removal of the fuel filter
- Carefully clean the filter case.
- Fix the new filter by hand, preliminary having moistened its consolidation by diesel fuel. Before filter installation on the engine of 1.7 l fill with its diesel fuel.
- Fix fuel hoses if they acted in film.
- Connect a socket of electroconducting of heating of the fuel filter.
- Start the engine and pump over the power supply system (see the Head of the Power supply system, release and decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases).
- Be passed on the car and check up the power supply system on leaks.
