The general data on options and adjustments

Not separately taken procedure of updating is meant "the adjustment" name in the present Management any of parametres of systems of the car, and the whole complex of the adjustments, allowing to achieve peak efficiency of return of the engine.

If the owner of the new car from the date of its acquisition strictly adhered to the schedule of procedures of routine maintenance (see Has undressed the routine maintenance Schedule), often enough carried out checks of critical parametres, supported demanded level of lubricant liquids, the engine will require extremely seldom performance of additional service and regenerative repair (over replacement of components subject to raised deterioration and account materials).

On the other hand, in case of the negligent relation to performance of procedures of regular maintenance service and frequent infringement of target dates of carrying out of checks, efficiency of return of the engine will necessarily decrease sooner or later. The probability of occurrence of such situation in case of acquisition of the car which was in the use is especially high. In such cases there is a necessity for performance of a complex of options of the power unit over amount of works on car routine maintenance.

The first step at adjustment or diagnostics of malfunctions of the engine working with lowered return always is check компрессионного pressure in cylinders (Engines see the Head) which analysis of results allows to estimate the general condition of internal components of the engine and to draw up the plan forthcoming adjusting and-or a recovery work. For example, if during check carrying out компрессионного pressure are revealed signs of serious internal deterioration of the engine, a usual complex of options will be insufficiently for correction of a situation and its performance is waste of time and means. In view of value of the information received as a result of check компрессионного of pressure, it is necessary to charge its performance to skilled enough and qualified mechanic having necessary diagnostic devices. Lists of the basic adjusting procedures are more low resulted, allowing to achieve peak efficiency of return from the engine being in a serviceable mechanical condition.

The list of the minimum complex of checks and adjustments

1. Check of all liquids connected with work of the engine (the Section of Check of levels of liquids see);
2. Check of a condition of all hoses of an impellent compartment (the Section Check of a condition and replacement of the hoses located in an impellent compartment see);

4. Clearing, survey and check of pressure of the battery (the Section Check, service and gymnastics see);

The list of checks and general purpose adjustments

All points of the minimum adjustment listed above, plus:

1. Check of system of ignition/preheat (see the Head of System of an electric equipment of the engine);
2. Check of system of gymnastics (see the Head of System of an electric equipment of the engine);
3. Check of fuel system (see the Head of the Power supply system, release and decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases);
4. Replacement ВВ of wires of spark plugs (see the Head of System of an electric equipment of the engine).
