The routine maintenance schedule

The intervals of routine maintenance of the car stipulated in the present Section are calculated on independent performance by the owner of a vehicle of all necessary procedures. Duration of intervals was defined proceeding from the assumption that the car is maintained in a daily mode. Constantly to support a vehicle in peak the forms some of procedures at will of the owner can be carried out slightly more often. Composers of the present Management are assured that receptions of the maximum return from the power unit of the car and its other knots and systems can achieve only under condition of a conscientious attitude of the owner to care of the vehicle. It is not necessary to forget as well about necessity of maintenance of a trade dress of the car on a case of its resale.

At operation of the car in the conditions of strongly dusty district, an intense city cycle (frequent short trips), and also at frequent towage of the trailer, intervals of performance of procedures of routine maintenance should be, whenever possible, are reduced to a minimum. Servicing of a new vehicle, in order to avoid infringement of factory guarantee certificates, should be made on firm HUNDRED Opel.

Each 12 months or 15 000 km of run (that will come earlier)

On cars of release with 09.1994 with diesel engines of 1.5 l (50 h.p.) and 1.7 l (60 h.p.) oil replacement should be made each 12 months or 15 000 km of run (that will come earlier). On other models with the diesel engine oil replacement should be made each 12 months or 7 500 km of run (that will come earlier) within the limits of maintenance service carrying out.

• Check working capacity of an electric equipment (the Section electric equipment Check see).
• Check and if necessary regulate headlights (the Onboard electric equipment see the Head).
• Check deterioration of brushes of a screen wiper (the Section Check of a condition and replacement of brushes see).

Each 24 months or 30 000 km of run (that will come earlier)

• Delete water from the fuel filter of the diesel engine of models from 09.1997 вып. (See Has undressed Removal of a sediment from the fuel filter of the diesel engine).

• Check seat belts on presence of damages.
• Check a thickness of brake overlays drum-type brakes (the Section Check of brake system see).

Each 36 months or 45 000 km of run (that will come earlier)

• Replace ATF on models with the engine capacity of 90 h.p. (the Section Replacement ATF see).

Each 48 months or 60 000 km of run (that will come earlier)

• Replace spark plugs on petrol engines DOHC, and also on all engines from 09.1995 вып. (The Section Replacement of spark plugs) see.
• Replace a gear belt on petrol engines till 08.1997 вып. (Engines) see the Head.

Each 72 months or 90 000 km of run (that will come earlier)

• Replace a gear belt and check a condition of a tension roller on petrol engines from 09.1998 вып. (Engines) see the Head.

Each 96 months or 120 000 km of run (that will come earlier)

• Replace a gear belt on petrol engines with 09.1997 for 08.1998 вып. (Engines) see the Head.
• Replace a gear belt on diesel engines and regulate phases of distribution and ТНВД (Engines see the Head).
