Replacement of impellent oil and the oil filter

At oil replacement it is necessary to replace and the oil filter. At operation severe conditions as, for example, frequent short trips, frequent cold starts and operation on dusty roads, oil and the filter replace through each 5000 km of run.

Regular and frequent enough performance of replacement of impellent oil is one of the basic procedures of preventive maintenance of the car, lying within qualification of the average mechanic-fan. Eventually impellent oil is subject to ageing that is shown in gradual it разжижении and pollution, to leaders to premature deterioration of internal components of the engine. In spite of the fact that separate sources recommend to make replacement of the oil filter only at every second change of impellent oil, composers of the present Management consider that in view of relative insignificance of cost of a replaceable component and importance of influence of its condition on serviceability of functioning of the engine and efficiency of its return, it makes sense to change the filter each time at oil replacement.

Make sure available near at hand all materials and the tools necessary for performance of replacement of oil and oil фильтраПриготовьте also enough of rags and old newspapers for gathering of traces of spilt oil.   1. Make sure of horizontal position of position of the car on props or the lift.   4. Allow oil to flow down free in capacity, in appropriate way correcting position of last in process of weakening of a pressure of a stream. Check up the churned butter on presence at it of metal sawdust.

  6. On all engines, except DOHC 1.0 and 1.2 l, establish a drain stopper with a new sealing ring and tighten it with demanded effort. On the turbodiesel engine of 1.5 l disconnect the tank of a cooling liquid and take him aside.
  7. On all engines, except DOHC 1.0 and 1.2 l, Move drain capacity under the oil filter.

  1. Merge oil from the oil filter in the substituted capacity.
  2. Clear a flange of the filter fuel.
  3. Remove the consolidation rests.
  4. At installation of rubber consolidation on the new filter slightly grease consolidation by impellent oil.
  5. Screw the new filter by hand. If filter consolidation lies on the block of cylinders, tighten the filter for a half-turn. Pay attention to the instructions resulted on the filter.

  2. Establish a cover (3) oil filters with a filtering element (1) and a new sealing ring (2)

  1. At a corresponding complete set establish into place protection картера. Collect traces of the spilt oil, take from under the car drain capacity and tools. Lower the car on the earth.
  2. Fill in fresh oil in a reception mouth of the engine, - for the purpose of minimisation of losses take advantage of a funnel. For lifting of level of oil from bottom (MIN) marks on щупе to top (MOVE) is required hardly less than one litre of oil.

  1. Having allowed to the engine to work within nearby minute, again muffle it, and at once glance under the car, checking, whether there are no leaks through a drain stopper and полнопоточный the filter. In case of need tighten a component supposing leak a little.
  2. During oil circulation on the engine (about 1 minute), there is a filling of the new oil filter.   1. On the turbodiesel engine of 1.5 l establish the tank.
  2. During first several trips after change of impellent oil try as it is possible to check its level is more often.
  3. The fulfilled butter churned from the engine is not subject to the secondary use and should be handed over on special place of acceptance. At all do not merge working off on the earth or in the water drain - pour it in tightly closed container and at the first possibility hand over.
  4. To improve engine service conditions, it is necessary to apply oils of one type and one mark. Therefore at each replacement oil remember or write down its marks and viscosity. Application of oils of various types is not recommended. It is not recommended to mix also some oil of one type, but various marks. Oils of one type and one mark, but various viscosity, if necessary, can be added in system at transition from a season by a season.
