Replacement of a brake liquid

The brake liquid гигроскопична, i.e. it can absorb a moisture, for example, through a time of a brake hose and a ventilating aperture of the tank. Thereof the temperature of boiling of a brake liquid decreases. At strong pressure in a hydraulic path of brake system for this reason steams can be formed that essentially reduces efficiency of action of brake system.

It is necessary to replace a brake liquid each two years irrespective of the passed kilometric area. Replacement is expedient for making in the spring. At frequent movement of the car in the conditions of mountain district it is necessary to replace a brake liquid more often.

Observe safety rules at the reference with a brake liquid.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Pump out from the tank a brake liquid, having finished it to level about 10 mm.

Do not empty the tank completely that air has not got into brake system.

  1. Fill the tank with a fresh brake liquid to a mark MAX.
  2. Put on the union of prorolling of the right back wheel cylinder a hose and substitute suitable capacity for gathering of a brake liquid.
  3. Ask the assistant to press a brake pedal some times. Without releasing a brake pedal turn out the prorolling union. Through a transparent hose movement of a brake liquid will be visible. Screw the union when the pedal will rest against a floor, and release a brake pedal. The described process repeat for each union of prorolling so much time, how many it is necessary that in a brake liquid there were no bubbles.

The fresh brake liquid can be defined on its light shade.

Reversing of the union of prorolling

  1. Screw the prorolling union. Fill the tank with a brake liquid.
  2. In the way described above pump out an old brake liquid from other supports or wheel cylinders in the following sequence: back right - back left - forward right - forward left.
  3. Old brake liquid utilise in places specially established for this purpose.
