Prorolling of brake system

Prorolling of brake system make in goggles. At casual hit of a brake liquid in eyes immediately wash out their plentiful quantity of water and address for the help to the doctor!

Prorolling of hydraulic system is made for the purpose of removal from it air getting to a path at performance of service of brake mechanisms, replacement of hydraulic lines or ГТЦ, and also at lowering below the minimum admissible value of level of a liquid in the tank of the main cylinder.


  1. If air has got to system owing to falling of level of a liquid in tank GTTS, or at a detachment from ГТЦ brake lines, brake mechanisms of all four wheels are subject to prorolling. At a detachment of lines from any of supports / wheel cylinders will enough pump over only given concrete brake mechanism.
  2. If the detachment of a brake line from the union located between ГТЦ and one of brake mechanisms was made, the given part of a brake contour is pumped over only.
  3. Some times squeeze out a pedal of a foot brake at the muffled engine for dump of residual depression in the vacuum amplifier of brakes.
  4. Uncover tank GTTS, necessarily add to the tank a fresh liquid, then enclose under a cover polyethylene and screw it into place.

Do not forget to check regularly liquid level in the tank during prorolling performance. Excessive falling of level is fraught with hit in ГТЦ air that will bring to naught all undertaken efforts and will cause necessity of prorolling of all brake system.

The basic method of prorolling - is required the help of the assistant


  1. Secure with the help of the assistant, prepare a stock of a fresh brake liquid, the transparent vessel partially filled with a brake liquid, the piece of a plastic hose which is densely put on the gate of prorolling, and approaching rozhkovyj/nakidnoj a key for a gate otpuskanija/tightening.
  2. Remove a dustproof cap and slightly ослабьте the gate of prorolling of the brake mechanism of the right back wheel, then again tighten it so that it easily and it was quickly released during procedure performance.

  1. Pull on the gate the suitable plastic or rubber hose which second end lower in transparent vessel partially filled with a pure brake liquid. The hose cut should appear completely shipped in a liquid.

Watch, that the second end connected to the gate of prorolling of a hose has been completely shipped in the brake liquid which has been filled in in a transparent reception vessel

  1. Ask the assistant to squeeze out slowly some times a pedal of a foot brake, having lifted thereby pressure in system.
  2. At the brake pedal fixed in the bottom position slightly open the prorolling gate so that from it the brake liquid has started to be superseded. Watch an exit of a liquid from a hose. Through pair seconds when a pressure ослабнет, close the gate and allow to release to the assistant a pedal.
  3. Repeat procedures of last two paragraphs until the free liquid will not start to follow from the gate from air bubbles, then pass to the brake mechanism of the left back wheel. Operating in a similar manner, pump over the given mechanism, then mechanisms right forward and, at last, - left forward wheels.

Constantly watch that liquid level in tank GTTS did not fall excessively low!

  1. At all do not add in the tank the brake liquid which was in the use, - it is in the higher measure гигроскопичной and in due course absorbs in itself a lot of moisture that conducts to falling of a point of its boiling and, as consequence, to decrease in efficiency of braking. Besides, presence at hydraulic system of a moisture promotes the accelerated ageing of a material of flexible brake hoses.

Method of prorolling with use of the complete set with the return valve

As tells the name, the complete set for prorolling includes the piece of a hose equipped with the one-pass valve. The valve prevents possibility of return of a pushed out liquid back in system and will allow to make prorolling by forces of one person, - do not forget about necessity of tracing of level of a liquid for the tank of the main cylinder (level should not fall below mark MIN!).

Prorolling with use of compressed air

As a source of compressed air the spare wheel can be used, - it is preliminary necessary to dump pressure of its rating. Operate according to instructions applied on the complete set.

At use of the similar device it is required to release only the gate of prorolling and to wait the terminations of an exit from a path of air bubbles.

The main advantage of the given way consists that the big tank entering into the complete set with a hydraulic liquid does not suppose подсасывания air in a path during prorolling.

All methods


  1. On termination of prorolling add in tank GTTS a fresh brake liquid, having resulted its level in norm.
  2. Check up efficiency of functioning of brakes. The pedal at squeezing should show firm resistance, - the sensation of softness of its course testifies to presence in hydraulic contours of air and necessity of repetition of procedure of prorolling.

Do not start at all car operation, without being are absolutely assured of serviceability of functioning of brake system!
