Adjustment of a drive of a lay brake

As a lay brake the back drum-type brake serves. As brake boots of a back brake are regulated automatically, to regulate a lay brake it is necessary only after its dismantling.

Models Corsa and Tigra

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Поддомкратьте a back of the car also establish it on props.
  2. Release a lay brake.
  3. Pull for cables and check up, whether freely they go. If necessary, replace cables with the new.
  4. Cock the lever of a lay brake on 3 clicks.
  5. Tighten самоконтрящуюся a nut (marksman) on the jack of a cable of a drive of a lay brake on a back suspension bracket so that both back wheels could rotate hardly only by hand in a direction of movement of the car.

Counternut of the jack of a cable

  1. Release a lay brake.
  2. After adjustment it is recommended to spend the following check. Remove a back stopper from a brake board and will light a lamp in an aperture.

Control aperture

  1. The cam of the lever of a brake drum of both brakes should adjoin to a wall at the released lever of a lay brake.
  2. Establish a stopper and lower the car on the earth.
  3. Be passed on the car and check up action of a lay brake.
  4. Cock the lever of a lay brake on 8 clicks. Back wheels should be thus blocked and the car should not move.

  2. Disconnect system of release of the fulfilled reptiles around a lining of cables of a drive of a lay brake.
  3. Remove a thermofilter from the bottom.
  4. Release a lay brake.
  5. Pull for cables and check up, whether freely they go. If necessary, replace cables with the new.
  6. Cock the lever of a lay brake on 2 clicks.
  7. Tighten самоконтрящуюся a nut (marksman) on the jack of a lay brake on a back suspension bracket so that both back wheels could rotate hardly only by hand in a direction of movement of the car.

  1. Release a lay brake.
  2. Inspect adjustment of a cable of the lay brake, described for models Corsa and Tigra.
