The vacuum pump creates the depression necessary for work of the amplifier of brakes. The pump is established on the generator and resulted from its shaft. |

- Ослабьте a tension of a V-shaped belt also remove it (see the Head of Adjustment and car routine maintenance).
- Disconnect a vacuum hose.
Hoses of the vacuum pump
- Disconnect a hose of giving of oil. Ослабьте a collar also disconnect a returnable hose of oil.
- Turn out screws of fastening of the vacuum pump and remove the pump with a sealing ring.

- Check up a condition of a sealing ring of the vacuum pump and, if necessary, replace it.
- Installation is made in an order, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Tighten fixture with demanded effort. Use new consolidation of a hose of giving of oil.

- Check is made by means of the vacuum gauge.
- Disconnect from the pump a vacuum tube and by means of a suitable piece of a hose attach the vacuum gauge.
- Start the engine and allow to it to work on single turns, measure depth of depression created by the pump, - after approximately one minute the device should register the indication of an order of 500 mm hg essentially underestimated result testifies to a pump exit out of operation, - consult at experts of car-care centre. The faulty pump is not subject to regenerative repair and is replaced in gathering.
