Check of the coil ignitions (engine C14NZ)

The ignition coil is located in an impellent compartment, at a forward frame at the left. It can be checked up an ohmmeter.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
  2. Separate contact 4 () and a multicontact socket () ignition coils.

Contacts of the coil of ignition

  1. Check up connection of the coil of ignition with weight. For this purpose by means of an ohmmeter make sure of absence of conductivity between the plug 15 and weight (1).

Checks of the coil of ignition

  1. Check up resistance of a primary winding. For this purpose include an ohmmeter between plugs 1 and 15 (2). The ohmmeter should show 0.45 Ohm.
  2. Check up resistance of a secondary winding. For this purpose include an ohmmeter between plugs 1 and 4 (3). The ohmmeter should show 5 7 clod.
  3. Connect electroconducting to the coil of ignition and the battery.

Replace the ignition coil only to the removed coil corresponding under characteristics. Otherwise it is possible to damage the block of management of ignition.
