Procedures of repair of diesel engines without their extraction from the car

Reduction of the piston of the first cylinder in position of the top dead point of the end of a step of compression (ВМТ)

Order of performance of procedure

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Establish the piston of the first cylinder in position ВМТ. For this purpose establish a transmission in neutral position and cock a lay brake. Establish bent накидной a key or a head with a rattle on the central bolt of fastening of a cogwheel of a cranked shaft. Turn a cranked shaft by hand in an hour hand direction so that the label on a pulley stood opposite to the index on the block of cylinders.

  1. Simultaneously at correct adjustment fixing bolts (arrows) should enter into cogwheels of camshafts.

  1. If it is not possible to make it, turn a cranked shaft on one complete revolution. As fixing bolts usual bolts М6х1.00х30 (camshaft) and М8х1.25х40 (ТНВД) can be applied.
