Engines of 1.0 and 1.2 l

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Turn out bolts of fastening and remove a protective casing (2) covers of a head of cylinders in a direction specified in illustrations by an arrow.

  1. Separate a socket of electroconducting (4), disconnect hoses PCV (1) from a cover of a head of cylinders and separate a multicontact socket of electroconducting (3) modules of ignition (address to an illustration).
  2. Turn out bolts of fastening of the module of ignition.
  3. Take out the ignition module upwards from a head of cylinders. For this purpose screw in the module special capture КМ-574 (1). If capture is not present, screw corresponding bolts and extend the ignition module for bolts. Uncover маслозаливной mouths (2).

  1. In regular intervals for some receptions turn out bolts of fastening of a cover of a head of cylinders.

  1. On engine DOHC of 1.2 l the cover of a head of cylinders is in addition fixed by four bolts.
  2. Uncover heads of cylinders.
  3. Remove a lining of a cover of a head of cylinders and clear interfaced surfaces.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Insert into a cover of a head of cylinders new consolidation.
  2. Put on interfaced surfaces hermetic.

  1. Establish a cover of a head of cylinders with new consolidation and in regular intervals for some receptions tighten bolts of fastening with effort of 8 Nanometers.
  2. Establish a cover маслозаливной mouths.
  3. Establish on spark plugs the module of ignition and tighten bolts of its fastening with effort of 8 Nanometers.
  4. The further installation is made in an order, the return to an order of dismantle of components.

Engines of 1.4 and 1.6 l

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Pit pressure of fuel (see the Head of the Power supply system, release and decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases).
  2. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
  3. Remove the air filter with gauge MAF and an air inlet sleeve (see the Head of the Power supply system, release and decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases).
  4. Merge cooling liquid in in advance prepared capacity (see the Head of System of cooling of the engine, salon and air conditioning heating).
  5. Disconnect the top and bottom hoses of a radiator (see the Head of System of cooling of the engine, salon and air conditioning heating).
  6. Turn out bolts of fastening and remove the tank from a partition of an impellent compartment.
  7. Uncover ВВ wires.
  8. Disconnect submitting fuel hose (1) from a fuel highway and a returnable fuel hose (2) from a regulator of pressure of fuel. Preliminary mark fuel hoses with a tape not to mix them at installation. Press hoses clips.

Enclose rags under following fuel.

  1. Disconnect hose PCV (1) and a vacuum hose of the amplifier of brakes (2) from the top part of the inlet pipeline.

  1. Disconnect a vacuum hose from a regulator of pressure of fuel (1) and from the control valve of the evaporator (2) on the top part of the inlet pipeline. On an accompanying illustration engine C16XE is shown. On other engines in addition disconnect a vacuum hose of the gauge of pressure in the inlet pipeline (MAP).

  1. On engine C16XE ослабьте a screw-driver a clip (1) control valves of the evaporator (marksman) also take out it together with the valve upwards from the holder. Take aside the control valve of the evaporator.

  1. Remove a cable throttle заслонки on the case of a throttle and take a cable aside (see the Head of the Power supply system, release and decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases).
  2. Separate a multicontact socket of the module of ignition DIS and disconnect electroconducting from the temperature gauge on the thermostat case.
  3. Disconnect a pipe of forcing of air from a branch pipe throttle заслонки.
  4. Turn out bolts of fastening of a branch pipe throttle заслонки (marksman). Remove a branch pipe and will put it aside.

  1. Give bolts of fastening of the top part of the inlet pipeline.

  1. Separate a socket of gauge CKP (2) and gauge SMR (3). On engine C16XE separate a socket of injectors (1).

  1. Disconnect a negative wire from the bottom part of the inlet pipeline.
  2. Disconnect a vacuum hose from a regulator of pressure of fuel.
  3. Disconnect hose PCV from a cover of a head of cylinders.
  4. On engines X14XE and X16XE remove from the engine the pump of giving of additional air together with electroconducting (see the Head of the Power supply system, release and decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases).
  5. Give 10 bolts of fastening of cover ГРМ and uncover together with sealing elements.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Make sure of cleanliness and dryness of interfaced surfaces of a cover and a head.
  2. Establish on a head of cylinders new linings (1) and new sealing rings (2).

Elements of consolidation of cover ГРМ

That sealing rings at installation have not fallen in a head of cylinders, grease with their small amount of vaseline. Corners of a cover of bearings of a camshaft from outside camshaft pulleys grease with hermetic OPEL L000 0295.

  1. Accurately lay cover ГРМ on the regular place, supervising correctness of placing of consolidations. Screw fixing bolts and, moving on a spiral from the centre to edges, in regular intervals tighten them with effort of 8 Nanometers.
  2. Establish the top part of the inlet pipeline and tighten bolts of its fastening with effort of 8 Nanometers.
  3. Establish a branch pipe throttle заслонки with a new sealing lining and tighten bolts of its fastening to the top part of the inlet pipeline with effort of 8 Nanometers.
  4. Establish a cable throttle заслонки on the case of a throttle and check up its adjustment (see the Head of the Power supply system, release and decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases).
  5. The further installation is made in an order, the return to an order of dismantle of components.
