For release of a cooling liquid from a radiator disconnect from a radiator the bottom hose and merge a liquid through it then connect a hose to a radiator and tighten a hose collar. Cooling liquid should be lowered in drain capacity of the corresponding volume which it is necessary to prepare in advance. Try not to admit antifreeze hit in eyes and on open sites of a skin. If in the block of cylinders it is not provided the drain stoppers, full removal of a liquid from system is not obviously possible and the given fact should be taken into consideration at configuration of a fresh mix. While the liquid merges from the block, disconnect a hose from a broad tank and remove last. Wash out a tank pure water (in case of need - with soap). Clear уровневые labels on tank walls. Check up a condition радиаторных hoses and hoses of system of heating, and also collars of their fastening on unions and branch pipes (see the Head of Adjustment and car routine maintenance). Replace the damaged components (in case of need see the Head of System of cooling of the engine, salon and air conditioning heating).

Washing

The radiator is washed out separately from system for the purpose of prevention of risk of blocking of thin internal channels of its heat exchanger as a result забивания by their adjournment which are washed away from a water shirt of the engine.

Disconnect the top hose from a radiator the top and bottom hoses and insert into a branch pipe of the first a garden hose. For washing of a water shirt of the engine remove the thermostat (see Has undressed Removal, installation and check of serviceability of functioning of the thermostat) and disconnect the bottom hose from a radiator. Fill a garden hose in an aperture under thermostat installation in a head of cylinders, include water delivery and continue washing until the transparent stream will not start to follow from the bottom hose. On termination of washing, establish the thermostat (see Has undressed Removal, installation and check of serviceability of functioning of the thermostat) and restore initial connection of hoses.

Refuelling

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Check up serviceability of a condition and reliability of fastening of all hoses охладительного a path. Replace defective components, tighten collars. Translate the handle of management of system of heating of salon on the maximum heating. On engines OHC of 1.2 and 1.4 l separate a socket of the gauge-switch of temperature and turn out the gauge from the inlet pipeline. Fill in ОЖ in the tank so that its level reached the bottom cut of an aperture of the gauge of temperature. Socket of the gauge-switch of temperature On engines DOHC of 1.4 and 1.6 l turn out the screw with a head under прутковый шестигранный a key from the case of the thermostat and fill in ОЖ in the tank so that its level reached the bottom cut of an aperture of the gauge of temperature. Screw the screw with a head under шестигранник, having greased with its hermetic (for example, OPEL 15 03 166), and tighten with effort of 15 Nanometers. The control screw in the thermostat case On engines DOHC of 1.0 and 1.2 l are not present the union for air removal. Air leaves system itself at engine work. Uncover a broad tank and start to fill in slowly a fresh mix of antifreeze with water in a mouth of the last. Continue refuelling until liquid level in a tank will not rise to mark KALT/COLD the translucent case of the last. For release of air stoppers some times compress радиаторные hoses. If the engine has not been completely emptied because of absence of drain stoppers, at first it is necessary to fill in in system pair of litres of the distilled water and only then to fill in a mix of demanded structure (or at first antifreeze, then - again water in demanded proportions). Establish into place a cover of a broad tank. Start the engine and allow to it to get warm to normal working temperature, then muffle and wait full cooling. Examine components of system of cooling on presence of signs of development of leaks, then check up level of a cooling liquid in a broad tank, in case of need make corresponding updating. Tighten a cover of a broad tank. At a corresponding complete set establish protection картера. Translate handles of a choice of temperature of submitted air and a choice of a high-speed mode of the fan on the maximum productivity. Start the engine, warm up it to normal working temperature.
