Removal and coupling installation

For coupling removal the special tool is required. Coupling on engines can be removed and established of 1.2 and 1.4 l at established РКПП. On cars with engines of 1.5 and 1.6 l for this purpose РКПП should be removed.

At removal of a disk of coupling watch a direction in which specifies a long element of a nave. To establish a coupling disk it is necessary in the same direction. Follow the recommendation about installation if it is available on disks of coupling of firm Opel.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

On engines of 1.5 and 1.6 l remove РКПП (the Manual 5-step box of a gear change see the Head).

Engines of 1.2 and 1.4 l

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove by means of a screw-driver lock скобу from a carving core of a cable of a drive of coupling.

  1. Wring out back by means of mount the lever of deenergizing of coupling and disconnect a cable.
  2. Mark position of the left forward wheel in relation to its nave that it was possible then to establish the balanced wheel in its former position. Turn out bolts of fastening of a wheel. Поддомкратьте car redock, establish it on props and remove the left forward wheel.
  3. Turn out bolts of fastening and uncover РКПП.

Prepare suitable capacity for gathering of oil following thus.

  1. Remove a lock ring (arrow) of a cylindrical bolt and turn out a bolt.

  1. Mark position of primary shaft РКПП in relation to a gear wheel.
  2. Extend primary shaft РКПП by means of special tool KM-556-1-A and a carving insert 556-4 against the stop from шлицевого gearings If the specified tool is not present, it is possible to apply a usual stripper with carving М7.

Removal of primary shaft РКПП

  1. Turn out bolts of fastening and uncover coupling baskets.
  2. Compress coupling and in this position fix three скобами КМ-526, having established them in regular intervals on a circle. For this purpose switch off coupling by means of mount, i.e. press it back or ask the assistant to press a coupling pedal.

  1. Turn out bolts of fastening and disconnect assemblage of a basket of coupling from a flywheel and take out it together with a conducted disk.

Do not drop conducted and press coupling disks at their removal.

  1. Wipe a flywheel the rags moistened in gasoline.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check up a sealing ring directing deenergizings of coupling about pollution and if necessary clear. Establish the bearing of deenergizing of coupling.
  2. Apply a thin film greasings on шлицы primary shaft РКПП. Remove the greasing rests.

Шлицы a conducted disk do not grease.

  1. Put on a conducted disk primary shaft РКПП. Remove surpluses of greasing in interface to a nave and again remove a conducted disk.

Establish a conducted disk so that the long part of a nave has been turned aside РКПП. Follow the recommendation about the installation, available on a coupling disk.

Engines of 1.5 and 1.6 l

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Establish a conducted disk and centre it with the help оправки or aligning tool HAZET-2174.

Centering of a conducted disk

  1. In regular intervals tighten bolts of fastening of a conducted disk with effort of 15 Nanometers.
  2. Establish РКПП (the Manual 5-step box of a gear change see the Head).

Engines of 1.2 and 1.4 l

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Establish assemblage of a basket of coupling with a conducted disk on a flywheel, without fixing it.

Watch that labels on a basket of coupling and on a flywheel coincided.

Adjusting labels of coupling

  1. A little raise a conducted disk and centre it with primary shaft. Cautiously enter a primary shaft in шлицевое an aperture of a conducted disk and a gear wheel, watching their correct gearing.

Centering of a conducted disk

Watch the labels put at removal on a primary shaft and a gear wheel.

  1. Fix coupling by effort of 15 Nanometers.
  2. Insert a primary shaft by means of tool KM-564 to упораДля it necessarily screw in a shaft a cylindrical bolt. Do not drive in a shaft by means of a percussion instrument, differently it is possible to damage teeths шлицевого connections. Tighten a cylindrical bolt with effort of 15 Nanometers.

Installation of a primary shaft

  1. Fix a primary shaft a new lock ring.
  2. Paste by means of greasing new consolidation of cover РКПП.
  3. Establish cover РКПП and in regular intervals fix bolts of its fastening with demanded effort.
  4. Compress coupling by mount, take out three скобы and release coupling.
  5. Establish a cover of assemblage of a basket of coupling and tighten bolts of its fastening with effort of 7 Nanometers.

All engines

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Establish the left wheel so that the labels put at removal have coincided. Fix a wheel bolts. Lower the car on the earth and tighten bolts cross-wise with effort of 110 Nanometers.
  2. Connect a cable of a drive of coupling to the lever of deenergizing of coupling and establish lock скобу on a carving element.
  3. Check up oil level in РКПП and if necessary add oil.
  4. Check up coupling adjustment.
