The starter is located behind the block of cylinders and acts in film downwards.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
  2. On the diesel engine include РКПП on transfer that it was possible to reach a starter.
  3. Disconnect wires from the plug 30 (1) and plugs 50 (2) on the traction relay.

  1. Turn out bolts of fastening (1) of a flange.

  1. Remove a starter.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On petrol engines establish a starter and tighten bolts of its fastening with effort of 25 Nanometers.
  2. On diesel engines tighten the top bolt of fastening of a starter with effort of 75 Nanometers, and bottom - with effort of 45 Nanometers.
  3. Connect wires to plugs 30 and 50 traction relays.
  4. Connect a negative wire to the storage battery.

Attach a wire only at the switched off ignition not to damage ECM.
