The general information and safety measures
The general information
Petrol engines are equipped by electronic system of injection. Engines DOHC of 1.0 and 1.2 l have system of injection Bosch-Motronic, other engines are equipped by systems of ignition and injection MulTec of firm Opel. Technology MulTec is based on uniform management of ignition and injection by means of the general block of management.
Various variants of system of injection MulTec are established. For engines of 1.2 and 1.4 l of 45 and 60 h.p. accordingly system MulTec is executed by capacity as system of the central injection with one injector on all cylinders. Mix distribution on cylinders occurs, as at the usual carburettor engine, through the inlet pipeline.
On the engine of 1.4 l capacity of 82 h.p. applies system MulTec-M. Here "M" means the distributed injection (MPI). Fuel is injected through 4 injectors into the inlet pipeline directly ahead of inlet valves. On engines of 1.4 and 1.6 l capacity of 90 h.p. the quantity of injected fuel for each cylinder pays off separately (consecutive injection, SFI), therefore the injection system is designated as MulTec-S.
All systems of injection have high reliability and do not demand special service.
Security measures at work with a control system of the engine
Remember that fuel in a power supply system path at the working engine and the included ignition is under pressure. Residual superfluous pressure continues to be kept in system during even some time after deenergizing of ignition and before a detachment of components/undockings штуцерных sockets should be dumped!
Do not touch to ВВ to electroconducting of system of ignition at the working engine/starter and do not make its detachment.
Connection and switching-off of measuring devices also should be made at the switched off ignition.
The detachment топливопроводов should be made at the switched off ignition.
At check компрессионного pressure in power supply system and ignition cylinders should be disconnected (the corresponding section of the Head Engines) see.

Remarks on checks of a control system by the engine
By search of causes of failures, first of all, it is necessary to deduce diagnostic codes from memory of the processor, and also to check up tightness of connection of vacuum lines.
For reliable functioning of all electric elements of system pressure presence not below 11.5 Century is necessary
If after end of search and elimination of causes of failures the engine after start at once глохнет, can serve as the reason of such phenomenon blocking of anticreeping system, - interrogate memory of the processor, in case of need make adjustment of the corresponding knot of management.
