Removal and installation of atomizers

The damaged atomizers can lead to strong detonations at work of the engine and be at the bottom of destruction of bearings. At damage of bearings start the engine on single turns and by turns give накидные nuts топливопроводов on atomizers. If at отдавании any накидной detonation nuts stop, it specifies in defect corresponding an atomizer.

The damaged atomizer can be defined also by consecutive отдавания накидных nuts топливопроводов on atomizers in an engine operating time on the raised single turns. If after отдавания any накидной nuts the number of turns does not change, it specifies in defect of a corresponding atomizer. To define the damaged atomizer it is possible also by means of a manometre at servicing deport.

Signs of damage of an atomizer are:

  • Absence of ignition;
  • Detonations in one or several cylinders;
  • Engine overheat;
  • Decrease in capacity of the engine;
  • Excessively black exhaust;
  • The raised expense of fuel.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the air filter.
  2. Turn out bolts of fastening and remove a final collector.
  3. Clear топливопроводы.
  4. Give накидные nuts топливопроводов and remove them in the complete set.

Nuts of fastening of pipelines

Do not change the form топливопроводов.

  1. Disconnect lines of return of fuel.
  2. Turn out the holder of an atomizer together with an atomizer at the help of special tool OPEL KM-728.
  3. Remove a sealing ring and a figured washer.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Lay in an aperture for an atomizer in a head of cylinders a new sealing ring and a new figured washer.

The convex part of a washer should look upwards.

  1. Insert an atomizer into an aperture so that the label (1) on an atomizer coincided with a label (2) on a head of cylinders.

Adjusting labels

  1. Tighten накидную a nut special tool OPEL KM-728. Thus the holder of an atomizer keep from проворачивания a wrench.

Tightening накидной atomizer nuts

The atomizer thus should not be turned, and labels should coincide.

  1. Establish lines of return of fuel with a new lining and tighten a nut with effort of 30 Nanometers.
  2. Establish топливопроводы on atomizers and ТНВД and tighten накидные nuts with effort of 25 Nanometers.
  3. Establish the inlet pipeline with a new lining and tighten bolts of fastening with effort of 25 Nanometers.
