Removal and installation of power shafts



  1. Cock a lay brake.
  2. Uncover a wheel disk. Take a lock pin корончатой ступичной nuts and ослабьте a nut.

Thus the car should stand on the earth.

  1. Mark position of a forward wheel in relation to its nave that then the balanced wheel was possible it is established in its former position. Turn out bolts of fastening of wheels at the car standing on the earth. Поддомкратьте car redock, establish it on props and remove forward wheels.
  2. Definitively remove ступичную a nut. If the car costs on the lift thus it is possible to use the special tool (lever) for deduction which can be made independently. The tool fastens two bolts for wheel fastening.

  1. Turn out tightening a bolt (arrow) of a spherical support. Pull the cross-section lever a hand downwards, thus the spherical support will slip out a rotary fist.

  1. Adhere a power shaft a wire to a body that hinges at removal of one party were not bent against the stop.
  2. Take out a power shaft from a nave of a forward wheel a hand, having pulled thus an amortisation rack outside. If it is not obviously possible, squeeze out a drive by means of a usual stripper.

  1. Beat out a power shaft from картера РКПП. HUNDRED apply for this purpose special tool KM-460-2-A (for the left power shaft) or KM-460-1.

The party of the tool with a facet should be turned aside РКПП. At removal of power shafts oil follows. Close an aperture in картере РКПП sootvet-stvujushchej a stopper, for example, OPEL (ET № 9092869).

  1. If the specified tool in is not present or if the power shaft has got stuck at removal, beat out its flat chisel. For this purpose preliminary uncover the SHRUS.
  2. Put a chisel between the end of a shaft and an axis of a conic wheel and then beat out a power shaft.

After removal of a power shaft from a wheel nave try not to load the SHRUS and not to move the car, not to damage ступичные bearings. In a case necessity to move the car, it is necessary to insert a power shaft into a nave and to fix its counternut, or to pull together bearings by means of a long bolt with a nut and steams of washers. At performance of all works connected with necessity of dismantle of a power shaft from картера РКПП, keep in mind what to extend a power shaft follows only for the hinge, instead of for a shaft. At removal and installation of a power shaft from a nave it is necessary to remember presence of an internal SHRUS.


It is necessary to handle with care with a new power shaft. It should not lie long time leaning against covers.


  1. The adjoining fillet of an external SHRUS, and also its adjoining surface to ступичному to the bearing should be cleared carefully.

  1. Grease with impellent oil шлицевое connection and installation sites of bearings.
  2. Establish a new lock ring in a shaft groove from outside РКПП.

  1. Insert a hand a power shaft into an aperture картера РКПП. Then push a power shaft a screw-driver before fixing of a lock ring. A screw-driver establish on a seam fillet, instead of on facing.

  1. After fixing of a lock ring check up reliability of landing of the SHRUS, having pulled a hand for the external hinge.
  2. If the SHRUS cover acted in film, replace its consolidation and put on a cover консистентную greasing. Tighten fixture of a steel cover with effort of 30 Nanometers, and aluminium - with effort of 18 Nanometers.
  3. Insert шлицевой the power shaft end into a nave.
  4. Establish a new washer and screw by hand new корончатую a nut, without tightening it.
  5. Insert into a rotary fist a spherical support. A bolt insert behind. Tighten new самоконтрящуюся a nut with effort of 30 Nanometers (address to an illustration).
  6. Establish forward wheels so that earlier put labels have coincided. Lower the car on the earth and tighten bolts of fastening of wheels cross-wise with effort of 110 Nanometers.
  7. Tighten ступичную a nut with effort of 130 Nanometers. Ask the assistant to squeeze out a brake pedal, release ступичную a nut and again tighten it with effort of 20 Nanometers. In this position tighten a nut on a corner 90 hailstones.
  8. Insert new шплинт and unbend it. If шплинт it is not inserted, slightly release a nut to the nearest aperture under шплинт and insert шплинт.
  9. Check up oil level in РКПП and if necessary, add oil (see the Head of Adjustment and car routine maintenance).
